Ships in the Night - Final Week

This is the final week of our theme "Ships in the Night".  The inspiration for this challenge comes from the Longfellow poem Tales of a Wayside Inn.  If you want to skip to Mr. Linky click here, but you will miss the great inspiration below.

We have two wonderful email entries from Gundi and Maureen:

Gundi - I used a fisherman and cattails from Stampscapes, several landscape sets from Stampin Up, and clouds from Art Impressions.  I sponged for color...

Maureen - My friend Maureen used a ship from Embossing Arts, and Beach clear stamps from Inkadinkado, and colored her picture with Prisma Color pencils.  She added glitterglue stars...

As you can see your project needs to have at least one ship/boat and your project should have an evening cast to it - basically dusk to dawn.

Check out this week's wonderful Design Team inspiration and then have a go at your own "Ships in the Night" creation.

This is your last chance to show us your wonderful "Ships in the Night" scenes.  Please make sure your creations are finished projects like cards and tags.  You may enter up to 3 times and as many challenges as you wish.  If you do not have a blog or account on Split Coast Stampers, then just email me a picture of the piece and I will add it to one of our posts.

If you are not sure what constitutes a scenic project, check out the information here.

Don't forget to add GDT to your link if you wish to be considered for a guest spot.

Have fun creating!
